As you may already know, painting vinyl black, or using non vinyl safe formula for any colours that contain black colorants, is a tricky task. There are no conventional major name brand paints (containing black colorants) on the market today that would be safe to use on vinyl without running the risk of warping over time. Many dark colours that contain black colorant in their formula can be reformulated to eliminate black colorant from the formula and substitute with a different combination of other colorants to get the same colour. Unfortunately, this is not possible with black. It can be substituted with a dark blue colorant but it will not be a true black colour.
So, what is our secret? How can we confidently paint vinyl windows black without running a risk of them warping over time? We simply use the same industrial strength black paint the vinyl window manufacturers use when they are manufactured. All vinyl used in windows is naturally white. Many windows stay white but they can also be custom ordered in a wide variety of colours, including black. It is then spray painted at the factory. As we have access to the same paint used by window manufacturers, our team of professional exterior painters can provide the same level of quality and durability at fraction of the cost associated with window replacement such as window & door installation, interior window jamb and casing installation and painting as well as possible plaster touch ups along with primer and paint touch ups on walls around windows and doors.
